Mock Drills and Awareness Programmes:

In order to minimize the recurrence of outbreak of fire incidents, and to ensure that effective Fire Preventive measures are adopted and implemented, based on the advisories / directions of the Directorate General, Fire Service, Civil Defence & Home Guards, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Meghalaya Fire & Emergency Service is regularly conducting Fire Safety Audits, Mock Drills and Awareness Programmes throughout the State enforcing the provisions of Fire Prevention and Fire Protection arrangements in line with National Building Code 2016 (Part IV).
